Zoë Munro, Program Director
Zoë Munro serves as Program Director with the Conference of Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers. The Conference unites eight U.S. Governors and two Canadian Premiers working together to grow the region’s $6 trillion economy and protect its world-class environment.
Zoë manages the Governors’ regional trade and economic development program which includes overseeing thirteen foreign trade offices promoting regional exports. Zoë has coordinated and led twenty four multi-state trade missions to North America, South American, South East Asia, India, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa.
Previously Zoë was the Special Assistant to the Chief Policy Advisor and Director of Cabinet Affairs for Ohio Governor Bob Taft. Prior to her work in Governor Taft’s office she was an aide to a State Representative in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Zoë earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) accredited by the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE).
