November 20 - Governor Evers joins volunteers to plant 40 trees at Oshkosh's Lakeshore Park

40 trees planted before winter arrived in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence region! GSGP's Trees Initiative teamed up with Governor Tony Evers, Cummins Inc., Arbor Day Foundation, and the City of Oshkosh to plant trees on November 20. Volunteers from Cummins planted 24 tree species including oak, hawthorn, hemlock, maple, and elm in Oshkosh's Lakeshore Park. These trees will provide shade and other benefits to the local community and wildlife while accelerating the city's progress toward meeting its tree canopy goals.
