October 6 - In Québec City, Governor Shapiro Strengthens Pennsylvania’s Partnership with Key Trading Partners, Elected Chair of Great Lakes–St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers

The Great Lakes–St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers (GSGP) Leadership Summit in Québec City, Canada, convened governors and premiers from across the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence region to advance new initiatives on trade, transportation, tourism, and agricultural innovation.

At the Summit, Governor Shapiro was elected Chair of the GSGP, where he called for closer collaboration among U.S. states and Canadian provinces to strengthen trade, protect shared waterways, and grow the region’s economy.
